It cannot be done using what they already have shown. X was made during or after the events of RM10 as a robot with perfect immunity to viruses. Light sealed him away. Light dies. Light's lab is found by Cain, Cain activates X, Cain uses what he can gather from X to make reploids, errors occur in them, maverick hunters are formed, Sigma revolts. What is there to make a game of? It's a clear story that would fit as a cut scene or an episode over a game. They can still, as you put, show us more personality, a bit more to the story, and as well as other aspects. Right now, it's just a wait and see thing. I won't recommend immediate rejection of their efforts for this RPG game, solely based on the premise that prior events were quite known to us.

I saw that awhile ago. I still want to know what the story is going to pertain. Better not be a bridge to the classic series.

There's still nothing wrong with developing that plot of connecting the series. Don't have to take it so seriously.

As I explained before there is nothing to connect. The most they can do is base it around RIGHT when reploids were being made. Like when they find Zero and Sigma duels with him, or some random maverick activity that formed the hunters. Either or there isn't much to do that would be entertaining or progressive for the story.

I would prefer to not bound myself to such undesired speculations. It feels sour to do so. At least they are doing some beta recruitments now or something like that. Probably some form of the game is likely to come out next year.

There is no speculation Fann, its facts. Watch the Day of Sigma, mainly the parts of Dr.Light sealing X, then read the special info from RMZC site, then take a look at the Dr.Cain journal entries found in the first Rockman X game. (can also be found in the X collection booklet) It's all there.
And, I think the game's intending to come out right around Christmas or early January.

So? Just because it's stated there, it doesn't mean that more cannot be developed. Well, mainly it's the developers' choice if they want to, but it does not mean that the timeline should be restricted of details.

Well, mainly it's the developers' choice if they want to, but it does not mean that the timeline should be restricted of details. Fann there is nothing more to develop there. All that would be to bridge the gap is what happened to Light, as we know he died at least by 30 years after building X. Then we have humanity do what it did, grow, and Dr.Cain finding X. That is it. Wily died as well, most likely the same reason as to how Light died, and it is unknown what happened to the classic cast, and that will not be reviled until capcom decides to end the classic series. I highly doubt that will happen. Now onto news, the game will come out this year protodudesrockmancorner.blogspot.com/2010/08/rockman-online-releasing-this-year.html

Haha. I knew they would want to play, or develop depending on the viewpoint, with the Classic-X transition period. Or somewhere there.
Thanks for the tip. This could get more interesting soon.

Im guessing the red energy is a time flux and thus we have the casts meeting. I am still stumped though. Signas was not commander of the Hunters till after the repliforce war, and after that Iris was dead, so how is this all going to work out?

Seems like a funny spinoff in a way.

It's probably just a crossover-type deal. Though in all honesty, you could theoretically do a time-skip from Classic to X in the MMO. Take Guild Wars for example. The beginner area is set two years before the city where you start in is destroyed. Once you choose to do the timeskip, there's no going back.
Though in all honesty, it's likely that there may just be some time-travel going on with X and the gang, kinda like that episode of the MegaMan cartoon where Vile and X went back in time.
