What I will be posting shortly is a story I wrote for World literature/ English. We had to do a story about an 'Arthurian Legend', and the character I was assigned was some chick named 'Queen Guinevere'. Anyways, we had to write a story involving our character, and make it somewhat educational.
Note; this is somewhat-- Well, basically, forged with Tillis' background, but with an mideval influence. This isn't what exactly happened with Tillis and stuff, but along the lines. I'll post his true bio sometime. In the meantime, here you go, i hope you enjoy.
Please also note, this is also my first true fanfic/writing of an sort. So, take it easy on me XD.
"The Sythram Tradegy"
Long long ago, in a village called 'Sythram', there was a boy named 'Tillis Zedeker'. Tillis was just a outgoing kid, trying to live his life, and give meaning to it, he would always try and out-match his friends, or rivals, in about anything he did. One day Tillis and his friend Rancor, were on the outskirts of thier village, near the forest, training to one day, become Knights, Tillis and Rancor were having a friendly little duel of strenght with swords. It was a fierce duel, since both Tillis and Rancor were both equally skilled swordsmans. Swords clashing, bodies being pushed to their limits, both getting weaker with each striking blow they endured. As Tillis and Rancor were brawling it out, Tillis sighted a fire, about a mile or so away, where their village was to be found. Rancor stopped dead in his tracks as he saw Tillis' emotionless face. Rancor looked toward the direction Tillis was, and he too, seen the horror Tillis had foreseen. The two boys paced theirself toward their village, about 20 minutes later, they arrivied too late, for the village had been burned down, and countless people, massacred. Both Tillis and Rancor exhausted from their duel and vigorous running. Both shocked and confused as to sure what exactly happened, Tillis looked around for evidence of any sign of life, but sadly, he found none.. Tillis looked over at Rancor but to see him sobbing with a corspe in his arms, to what it looked to be his mother. Tillis fell to his knees and said gently; "How... HOW COULD ANYONE DO THIS!?!" Tillis clenched his fist and struck down toward the ground, breaking a piece of debris into peices. Both Tillis and Rancor were only at of an age of 17. Rancor picked himself up, his body so lifeless, and looked over at Tillis and said "..This day will not be forgotten.. From this day on, we will remember what was lost, and we will fight for it." Tillis looked over at Rancor, responding gently, "I guess this is where our story begins." Tillis looked over at a desolated building, to see some type of metal glistening out of it. He walked over and picked up what had been some sort of mythical blade. He kneeled down slowly, and picked up the blade. He held it up to himself and said; "Today. I start my legacy.". Rancor looked over and smirked underneath all his sorrow. "We'll find who did this Tillis.. And when we do, they'll feel our wrath.. Until then, we'll train." Rancor said determinely. Rancor started to walk over to what use to be his home, lowering his head. "Sorry Tillis, but, I think i'm going to forge my own path." "B-But.. We must do this together?" Tillis questioned. "..No, its time we mend our own destiny." Rancor said. Tillis replied with a steadily "..Alright.". "When the time comes and you need me, Rancor. I'll be heading towards Rune Migard." Tillis picked up his newly founded blade, and ventured off to Rune Migard, where said to be Guinevere, a surpassingly beautiful and desirable queen. About 6 months later, Tillis arrives at Rune Migard, amazed at how beautiful the city was. At first, Tillis asks around for how he could come in contact with this so called Queen Guinevere, people respond to him either "Shes a busy women." or "One does not simply conflict with the Queen.", furthermore fresturated Tillis, his desire to become a Knight was provoking his memory of the Sythram Tradegy. Tillis got fed up with peoples responses and simply tried to walk in to see the Queen but gaurds quickly stopped him in his tracks. Tillis shouted "Please, let me see the queen! There is much help I need from her!". One gaurd looked at him and said "What buissness you have with Queen Guinevere?". "I need her assistance.. All I ask is to be a devoted knight of Rune Migard." Tillis pleaded. The gaurd laughed "Hah, foolish boy. One cannot simply barge in here and demand such a priveledge!" Tillis sighed. "..If you really desire this, go see, Mikal, a ruthless Lord Knight of King Arthur's militia." responded the gaurd. Tillis smiled and looked up. "..Thank you.". Without further bickering, Tillis stormed out of the Rune Migard castle to what looked to be an headquaters of King's Arthurs Militia. Tillis walked in, seen a clean, intimidating man with polished armor. Tillis walked up to him and asked "Are you Mikal?" "..Yes, I am." Mikal replied. "I'd like to be a knight of Rune Migard, sir."."Hmph.. A boy like you?" replied Mikal. "Please, allow me to prove myself in battle!" Tillis pleaded. "..Alright, i'll put you against one of my most fiercest knights, Zeke." Mikal said. Tillis walked into a room to what was a circular training ground. Tillis kept his calm, out of no where, a knight in full armor came charging at Tillis with a sword. Tillis, shocked at the sudden charge, paniced, and fought cautiously. Tillis, at first, nervous as he blocked each swift block Zeke swung at him. Tillis, quickily regaining his courage and honor as a swordsman, he assualted Zeke with an onslaught of tactical manuevers. Zeke, wise and bold, countered almost all of them. As Zeke swung to counter one of Tillis' attacks, Tillis swiftly dodged out of the way, and Zeke's sword impaled into the wooden barrier, surrounding the training ground. Tillis then, at point blank, had Zeke out-matched. Tillis pointed his blade toward a weak-point in Zeke's armor, by his neck. Zeke sighed and said "..Alright! Alright! ..I forfiet..". Mikal shocked to see one of his best knights defeated so cunningly. Mikal rushed out and asked Tillis, "Tillis, where are thou from?" "..Sythram." Tillis replied. "Sythram? That village that got desol--." "Yes." Said Tillis, cutting him off. Mikal made Tillis kneel before him, hovering his sword and gently tapping his head. "Tillis of Sythram, I here grant you, my knight." Tillis looked up with accomplishment in his face. "Thank you.." Tillis said gracefully. "Sir Mikal, may I have permission to go forth to Queen Quinevere and King Arthur and ask a favor?" Tillis asked. "..Yes, you may, my new knight." Mikal replied. Tillis quickly rushed back to Rune Migard castle, with new found authority. On his way, a man stopped Tillis and asked what he was doing, Tillis replied, "I'm going to see the Queen." the man replied back "Ah.. Quinerve, such a desirable queen." "..What do you mean?" Tillis asked confused. "Well, let me tell you a little story." The man said. "Shes not the most formidable Queen out there. Word is, she concieves extra-marital relationships, frequently, its with Sir Lancealot. She is easily condemed by others. For two and a half years, Queen Quinevere's half-sister was mistaken by Arthur as Quinevere herse--". "Hmm, thanks, but no thanks, kind sir. I do not wish to obtain such information." Tillis cut him off. "Suit yourself, boy." the man said back angerily. Tillis continued to walk to the castle. Arriving there, he entered the throne room to see Queen Guinevere sitting in her throne, with gaurds along the pillars of the room. Queen Guinevere looked at Tillis, confused of who he was. Tillis knelt down and said "I, Tillis of Rune Migard, former village, Sythram. Come bearing favors." "Yes..? What doth shall want?" Queen Guinevere replied. "..Infomation, regarding the Sythram attack." Tillis replied. "Oh.. That village 25 miles from here? I believe it was reported it was attacked by mercanaries. Our men arrived their a couple of days late to look for surivors, but I guess only you was left." Queen Guinervere said shocked. "..Yes, now, I am a trust worthy knight of your beloved kingdom. I devote my honor to you, Queen Guinevere.. Also, hoping one day I may track down these mercanaries that desolated my village.." Tillis said. "..Your such a couragous young man. Let me tell you this, I will grant you 20 soldiers, and you may go on your own quest." Queen Guinevere said smiling. "..I don't believe it.. Thank you! I will be forever endebted to you!" Tillis cried out. "No need, your already a part of Arthur's militia, your doing enough for our Kingdom, just protecting it." she replied. "..Thank you. I wont forget this favor!" Tillis then, said his thanks and left the castle. A couple months later Tillis searched out for infomation on those mercanaries, trying to find them. Along the way, he ran into his old buddy Rancor, now having the title as a 'Paladin', a holy warrior nonetheless, that day, Tillis and Rancor, along with his soldiers, go forth to find and hopefully restore some faith that was lost in the Sythram tradegy.. Legends have said they have gotten their revenge, some have not.. Some may never know, legends are legends.. Some things are better to be left a mystery..
