in New forums from proboards you can see topics you've participated in Previewimage from Proboards can't you guys switch it on? it'd be easier to manage our threads that way

Well, at the top of the forum, when you are logged in, there is a New Topics link there which informs you which threads are newly posted in. I think that can help you.

That is an interesting feature. Of course, it does add a much bigger ad to the front page... So we might have to take a vote on it.
Like Fann said, in the meantime you can use the "New Topics" button to check recent activity.

I've noticed this feature on the other forum you linked today, and I see that's a pretty big ad Using the New Topics link should be good enough for now, seeing as not many topics here get bumped each day - it shouldn't take long to find the ones you've posted in.

I don't think I want big ads to distract my day in the forums.

I think our system is fine, I can easily tell which areas of the site have new posts already. If there was an option for each individual member to set that box up through their preferences then maybe, but for my part I wouldn't like that.
I can see your system making sense if the forum consisted of a giant list of threads, no organization at all, no way of grouping topics and you just wanted to see the ones you'd posted in. But that's not the case here and so I don't see the need.

Personally, I don't think it'd be very useful here. My main reason for this is that we really don't have all that many active threads at one time, so it's easy to remember where you've posted and where you haven't.
