So an animator can't pay tribute to a couple of shows/movies he likes by coppying a couple of moves? Not like he recreates an entire fight scene.

People also need to know that copyright laws is lax in Japan, so they can copy certain scenes without getting in much trouble.
And like Ruin says, it's probably a hidden reference to both sources, they didn't copy the entire fight scene.

Akatsuki characters are the most original characters. He copied alot of other things from DBZ though. Naruto and Sasuke's relationship, attitude and clothing reminds me of Vegeta's. Rasengan = Kamehameha. Jiraya = Roshi.
Naruto = DBZ > those other animes Naruto copied from
