The ZVRPG Demo has been released. The game was made on an illegal version of RPG Maker; so I had to not only compress the game, but the whole version of RPG Maker XP, as well. Please use it for the game only. To play the game, go into the folder and go to 'SfC Demo'. Press the starburst-looking Icon, and you're playing. Please don't alter the game in any way. The .rar file is 106 MB, and the unzipped file is 216. The game allows you to go from Trias' beginning to the town of Levi. This allows... roughly a half hour minutes of gameplay, or about. Click the picture to get started!

I didn't get any kind of folder. Just a file that said I need to find and download a bunch of programs online to play it.

You got a .rar File, right? Unzip it, go to the 'Games' folder, go to 'SfC Demo', and click 'Game'. Its should say 'RGSS Player' underneath it.
Recently, it has come to my attention that you also need to go through the 'Setup' for the game. So, install it right before playing.

I did that, still doesn't work. It may be because I'm using Vista and not XP. You also have to remember, Random, that you have RPG maker and we don't. I dunno if that has anything to do with it, because I've encountered this problem before with a similar game making program my friend used to make a game.

Yeah, it doesn't work on Vista. Sorry.
Oh, and the thing is that that HAS RPG maker in it. I sorta sent you the entire package.

I completed the demo a few minutes ago and Random asked me to rate it.
Difficulty: 7/10 - Overall, it was moderately easy. The precense of certain bosses coming in unexpected places could catch you off guard and kill you though.
Enjoyment: 9/10 - I seriously liked this demo. It held my attention easily without me getting bored.
Style: 7/10 - Ok, there were quite a few flaws in this demo. You can walk over cliffs and partly on water. I encoutnered a flaw with Baphomet that made me fight him three times in a row. Nightmare informed us of a glitch that made a giant shortcut to a boss.
Overall: 8-9/10 - It's turning out to be an extremely promising game. I wish the best of luck in continuing it.

I have a computer with XP, but its extremely slow. At least I can play the game though. There are a few bugs and stuff, and I ran into a boss that I could only do 0 damage to.
looks good though. I really like the graphics, you did an awesome job on the game. I look forward to experiencing the gameplay a bit more.

Difficulty: 7/10 - The game was f**kin hard. You start at level 1, and two screens away is a boss you normally can't beat til you're level 5. Might wanna make the dungeons longer (to encourage battling/leveling up) or be a little more diverse with Boss placement.
Enjoyment: 8/10 - I really liked it. It was alot of fun for a work in progress. I can't wait to play the finished product.
Style: 5/10 - As far as the look of the game goes, the sprites were kinda so-so. Some sprites looked beautiful, others looked like crap. Though I guess making all that stuff from scratch, you can't spend forever on just one sprite. As far as layout, Dungeons were painfully short, and the towns were a little plain. Not too bad, but still. And there were alot of world map glitches (you could skip two bosses by walking through one wall on the world map. So the style still needs some work.
Overall: 7/10 - Despite the ocean of glitches, shortage of development, and severe lacking of me, the game was good, and alot of fun. XD
Can't wait to play the real thing.

Is there any way Vista users can play it? If not, can we arrange so the final version is playable that way? I still can't access it..

Sorry Swim, RPG Maker XP and it's games are completely uncompatible with Vista. I know, I was pissed too. I downloaded it onto my brother's laptop.
Either you gotta find another computer to play it on or you're stuck. =/
