State your supposed evidence. Or else it's just a simple theory not worth reinforcing.

There's an 99% chance that Zero killed him and a 1% chance that bass killed him.
Bass- Had a free-will and could have destroyed Wily but didn't have a real reason since he was anti-hero, not evil. soo not really.
Zero- Was a maverick soo yeah.. Isn't it kind of obvious?

Wrongo. Wily was Zero's master and unlike Bass, he obeyed him. Bass killed Wily because Zero was replacing Bass as Wily's most powerful robot and Bass didn't like that. No one likes being replaced.

CONAN SAVES THE WORLD!
Eh.. I still stand behind the "He fell into one of those damn Plotholes and then starved to death just like Megaman, his buddies and Axl" D:
or
Zero killed him. @fw: Proof, in MMX4, in the cutscene where he sees the nightmare his hands are covered in blood.. could be Wily's you know.. <.<
@swim: Zero would NOT obey Wily after going maverik... -_-

To Taro-sama - The memories were actually tracing back to those Reploids he had killed. Remember that Japan Capcom advocating the concept that Reploids have bloods, but as far as the US base translates, nothing of that at it. But still a worthy reference.
So no, that's not Wily's blood.
Zero killing Wily - very probable but you must remember Zero is fair more loyal to him than Bass. The deep dark memories of Zero which were forgotten actually imply that Maverick Zero was meant to obey Wily alone, not disobey and kill him.
Bass killing Wily - nah. We don't know because Bass once snorted at the idea that somone was going to be more powerful than him because it WASN'T PROVEN SO. Or the robot claiming so has not yet taken any action.
Take Power Fighters 2. Bass sees blueprints of Zero, not yet built. Snort. But the yikes wasn't that important. Zeor wasn't activated yet so Bass underestimates Zero's strength.
Take a look at Megaman and Bass game. King has done something, at least something worth of Bass' attention, by claiming he's the strongest robot in the world. That ignites Bass. Bas goe out to defeat King.
But even though Bass is infuriated at Wily fr making king, he has NEVER made any moves to kill Wily at all. So this remains a mystery.

This thread just goes on and on!!!
I heard too many comments and suggestions and confirmation on Dr. Willy's whereabouts, either killed, a the bona-fide Dr. Weil, or just gone within the plotholes of Capcom. Damn which one is it?
I'm surely gonna make a poll like this one day....another re-editted poll!

The first adn third options are very possible. And that's all there is. The second one is stupid, whoever said Dr Weil and Dr Wily are the same people are ignorant. They're not.

Until Capcom says otherwise its a possibility and its what I believe. I used to think that there was no way they were the same person but I'm now convinced otherwise by time, coincidence and what I consider evidence. Now lets lets this die until it is answered one day.

.. You believe Wily and Weil are the same person? Amazing.
Think a little more. Wily is long ime dead, adn by that kind of machinery he can only live in a Reploid body. Before Weil himself was cast in an srmour for punishment, he was entirely human.
How can Wily, being dead, transplant himself in a human body/ Don't give me that kind of nonsense like machine can control human body so Wily can do so, because it ain't possible. The furthest Capcom acknowledged about changes to human body is Ciel genetically modified and Weil originally a human.

Have you heard of bona fide?
Speaking or the impossibility of Willy to revive as Weil, Capcom have their best excuses and reasons to make this a fact, or a lie.
Yup, that's it for this. If the mods or ads want to send this to graveyard, there's nothing i can say.....

Bona fide, a term Weil used in the English translation, means "good faith". I find the RMZ Complte Works having more solid proof for his existence than mere speculation that Wily is Weil. We know Wily died, but that concious is ultimately dead before X7.

Like I said before, Wily just fell into an ultra deep plot hole. One soo deep it took until MMX6 for Sigma to hear his screams.
