If you are going to play it make your character on the 2nd Ship, and get on channel 20 (Channel can be changed by entering the green elevators).
That's where you will most likely find english speaking players, since pretty much everyone who used PSOW's guides are there.
NOTE: Characters are bound to the ship they are made on!

It's not too hard to play even if it's in japanese, all the items have icons that tell what they are.
Also there was a fanmade UI tranlstion for the closed beta, expect there to be one for open beta aswell.

also i'll try to stick to block 20 from now on, and when i have a party going it's always called ":3" and the password is zv. feel free to join whenever.

I was too, but I got tired of waiting and when I got a laptop capable of playing it, I said screw it and jumped on in.

I think I'll jump ship when the US version comes out...I just hope Sega of America doesn't treat the game badly.
