you know that X can also stand for 10? well, maybe theres was a megaman 9 but only in japan. was there?

i wish. i have the origonal mm8 and it says that megaman was healed because dark power found it's way inside him,and duo got it out then left..never saw bass after i killed the crap out of his second form (merged with treble) maybe megaman and bass is megaman 9.

Thats My guess aswell.. and X being Megaman 10 would also fit as X is indeed 10 in roman numbers.. But then Z and ZX... <.<

Inafune actually had this thought of referring to internal Jap sales as a means of encouragement for him to make the remakes, NOT the international demand. So the sales dipped and the plan was scrapped, not regarding international sales.

As i have mentioned for a loooong time.....capcom is the best in leaving plot holes for their games' fans to fill them in. I remember around newgrounds, there are plenty of megaman flahs movies or shows that continues the series...well, it's just to satisfy themselves though.
By the way, wonder where's Bass in that series?

Awhat? Bass? He appeared in Power Fighters and Rockman and Forte after Megaman 8.
