A friend of mine got me into this a while ago, but I never really talked about it here... so I guess I might as well.
Godville is a "game" where you take on the role of a God that watches over a mortal hero, who is a complete idiot. The hero acts completely on it's own... it will adventure, kill monsters, and complete quests all with out an actual input from you. However, you do have some limited influence over them... being able to encourage or punish them as you see fit... as well as giving them simple commands (or, just send them silly messages for no reason) but there's really no guarantee that they'll actually listen. They also have a tendency to die... a lot, but it doesn't take much to revive them and get them back on their way.
While it might not seem like it at first, it's really a lot of fun. You can waste quite a bit of time just watching what kind of amusing stuff you're hero gets up to. If you're at all curious, I highly suggest you check it out right here.
