Hello everyone! It's that time of year, isn't it? I bet you're all missing the Carnival right about now-- I know I am... If we were doing it, it would have started yesterday, after all. 
But just because we're not doing a Carnival doesn't mean we can't get together and celebrate Zero Virus' birthday! ZV turns 11 on the 21st, and we of the staff have decided to arrange a little something to celebrate!
On Saturday, June 21st, we'll be throwing a bit of a party in the chat!
Starting at 1 pm EST (10 am PST) we'll begin a BattleBob tournament playing with all new features and an updated database of assists, skills, weapons, summons, sandwiches, all the things that make BattleBob great! We'll open signups now and leave them open through the 19th, then post the brackets on the Friday before the tourney.
Unlike the tourneys during the Carnival, we'll be running through the entire tournament in one day, so each round will take place about two hours after the last (meaning we'll start Round 1 at 1 pm EST, the fights need to be done by 3 pm EST for Round 2, etc.) The spacing between rounds is to allow for people to not have to stay in the chat all day.
Once the BattleBob tourney is concluded (which will happen when it happens, depending on how many people sign up and thus how many rounds are in the tournament), we'll be holding a ZV Trivia Contest!
Join us in the chat Saturday evening as we draw from a list of nearly 300 Trivia questions with subjects covering ZV history, ZV lore, ZV's creative works, and ZV's roleplays as we test to see how much you all really know about Zero Virus!
All BattleBob matches and the Trivia contest will take place in a separate channel alongside the ZV IRC during the celebration, so if you don't want to play and just want to hang out you're still more than welcome to join us for pal time, Skype antics, Smash Bros discussions, and more!
We may not be able to devote two weeks to celebrating like we used to, so let's make up for it with one action-packed day of good old-fashioned ZV fun!
