First off, I want to thank everyone who's been helping out and supporting me with this whole Xero Fantasy thing. To everyone watching the live streams and giving me things to talk about and jokes to bounce around, to everyone watching the YouTube videos and subscribing to my channel, I sincerely thank you. Some specific shout-outs to Tony and Aerin, Aerin for letting me use her artwork and Tony for narrating my videos. I couldn't do this without all of you.

I haven't posted anything here on the forum in a while, so I thought I'd post some updated info here, and go ahead and give you guys some advanced information. You know, some things to be thinking about for the future. With that said...

State of the Fantasy Address
Here I'm gonna give you guys an update of how things are going, a little behind-the-scenes info, and probably ask you for some opinions. Since you guys are some of my oldest friends and best fans, I can trust your advice. Right? Right.

I plan on doing a few extra YouTube videos here and there, right now my plan is to just post one or two extra ones a week, probably one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Here I'll be covering extra stuff from the games, like the alternate bosses from the bonus dungeons in Final Fantasy I. Another possibility is this is where I'll post any spinoffs or direct sequels to games, FF4 The After Years is the first example that comes to mind. Whether or not I do them as live streams as well will be up to you guys. If you wanna see them live I can do that, so be thinking about that.

As far as the live streams themselves, I feel like they are going well. Slowly but surely more people are tuning in on a regular basis, and that always makes my job easier. It really is hard to be engaging and a little entertaining when you're just playing a video game by yourself. I feel like I'm personally getting more comfortable behind the mic, and overall it feels less cumbersome to keep you guys interested. If that's not the case, please let me know, and feel free to offer any helpful advice.

On that note, let me flat out ask you. How do you think Xero Fantasy is going? You guys enjoying the live stream? The YouTube episodes? Anything you think I could do differently to improve either one? Feel free to go ahead and comment right here in this thread, any comments or criticisms are welcome, so long as they aim to improve Xero Fantasy as a whole.

Another thing I want you guys to be thinking about is these extra weekend videos I'm planning. Not every Final Fantasy has extra content for me to post, and the ones that do don't always have alot to go on. So, are there any other games you guys might be interested in seeing? You guys know my repertoire fairly well, what games I excel at and what I enjoy. Maybe some other RPG I can skim through and do edited and trimmed down videos for YouTube? You guys wanna just see me kick some demon ass in Devil May Cry? Maybe Mega Man it up for old times sakes (even though you guys have seen me do that to death already)? I'm open to any and all suggestions, so leave those here in this thread as well.

Well let me start off by saying that I'm enjoying the show a lot. I try and make it to every live stream I possibly can. It's cool getting to see the original Final Fantasy since I never got very far in it, and I'm looking forward to the other games I've yet to play as well. I think you play the games just fine and are plenty funny and engaging. Admittedly I don't watch all of the YouTube videos every day, but that's mostly because I do watch the live streams every day. I watch the videos with stuff that I miss in them, and when you get to the point where you're uploading content not shown in the streams, you can bet I'll be on those like Oprah on a baked ham.

As far as the videos go, I'd be weary about uploading videos every day. Not because I don't think it's a good idea necessarily but because if you don't have a break once in awhile you may get burnt out. But if you're comfortable with it then cool. As far as what content should be posted on those weekends, I think just keep up with the stream. If you do extra stuff related to episodes, just post them in chronological order (so if you post the episode of the stream where you do the first two extra dungeons, the next day's episode should just be the video with the extra content where you fight the extra bosses in those dungeons.) Alternatively, you could upload them as extra videos that day, but I think one video a day is more than enough.

In regard to stuff like spinoffs and sequels, I'm not sure about that. I wouldn't mind watching you do ones directly related to the main series games like Crisis Core or FFIV After Years or FFX-2, but I also think that the main series games puts more than enough on your plate as it is. I think that if you do play them, you should do them as part of the usual programming: Keep them grouped with their respective games (So do FFVII and Crisis Core back to back, FFIV and After Years back to back, etc.) and do them as part of the streams. But you'd probably do better to put that one to a poll.

Overall I'm having fun watching it and being a part of the experience, can't wait til you finish FFI this week and move onto FFII next week.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I think uploading a new video every day is a good idea. There's going to be a lot of content you have there, especially if you're gonna do all 15 games. You should do FF Tactics as a bonus stream.
