Zero Virus Special Event, Sunday April 30th

Ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation the ZV community has decided to hold a special gathering this Sunday, April 30th, in the Zero Virus IRC chat channel. The purpose of this gathering is to give everyone an opportunity to share some of their untold fictional stories and ideas from the past, present, or future, which revolve around the Zero Virus community and fictional universe we all have helped create. For example, have you ever wondered how the story of Black Crescent ended in Xero's Cursed Bloodlines? Or just how drastic have the changed been between NMMZ Comics and the Nightmare Chronicles? Or do you have your own fictional ideas and characters that you've never really been able to bring to light? Now is the perfect time to discuss them, and help us all get a better insight into each other's imaginations.

We plan to get together in the Zero Virus IRC chat on Sunday, April 30th at 3pm EST, commence the discussions no later than 5pm EST, and will continue the discussions for as long as people are interested. While some of us already have things prepared to talk about, we more than welcome any and all input from everyone either on our own stories, or any of your own fictions you wish to discuss. If this kind of discussion is popular enough, we may do this on a more regular basis. But for now, we're looking forward to sharing our treasured stories with everyone, and hope to see you all this Sunday!

I just want to put out there that I'm glad we did this. Like for my own part I always kind of felt left out that I never had a sprite comic and didn't tend to make appearances in forum crossovers because of that. Like, I was a mod and even people who'd joined years after me were showing up in comic crossovers and carnival events and I felt left behind. And I'm not sure if any of the stuff I ever wrote got read because a wall of text doesn't seem appealing when you've got real homework to do, I know that comics are much more inviting in that sense. So there was a period of time where I'd pull in other people's characters, Xero, Nightmare, Spex, Neoforte, Tony, Fusion, Ne0 and Nightshade all made appearances at one point or another, in effort to get more people to care about my crap. So it feels pretty good to finally get to share everything with you all. It's all out there and in one place now and I'm happy that people know my story, this has kind of been an itch I've waited for 12 years to scratch. And I'm going to keep on writing those Shorts, because hopefully it'll light a fire under other people's asses to quit being lazy/busy and make something.

On that note it was good to hear other people's stories, because I was actually invested in that crap and it's good to finally have some closure. So much stuff has lain dormant for so long, and if you're never going to pick it up again you may as well share what plans you had. Because I know that personally, even though I posted a ton of stuff, that I was only scratching the surface. There are so many plots, characters, alternate timelines and interpretations that I could've covered and I know I'm not alone. I don't know half of the RP plots that've gone on in the chat, on other forums or elsewhere, but I am interested in hearing about them. And I'm interested in sharing more of my own stuff if people want to hear it. So if you haven't shared yet, please do. It's been really cool to learn more about what makes you guys, some of you who I've known for 12 years, tick. We should definitely do more stuff like this.
