I was sceptical when this game was announced last year, but ... I'm happy to say that I was wrong.
This game is wonderful. Exactly what Mighty No 9 should've been, but failed at.
The Double Gear mechanic is integral to playing all the stages, up to Wily's Castle (it's already been known since last year Dr Wily is the villain when they announced the Japanese voice actor for him, come on, it's not a spoiler even then). It makes every stage have meaning and the player (myself) has the joy of playing every stage in here.
It's tough as nails, I spent three hours fighting through all the stages, as any tough game should be. It was frustrating but I enjoyed every experience.
I played this on the PS4 by the way. Not a Switch person.
I recommend everyone to get the game immediately before they stop selling it. It's a very welcome way for Megaman to come back.
And hopefully Capcom will pursue further MM12 or MMX9. Seems MM11 is already a commercial success.
