That's right, here we are once again ladies and gentlemen. It's time to get the ball rolling on ZV's favorite (and 2nd most consistent) tradition, The ZV Secret Santa! You guys know the deal, you've heard the speeches, but for the sake of argument here's the official rules.
If you wish to participate, simply make a post in this thread saying you'd like to join Secret Santa, along with a list of four or five interests so people have some idea of what gift to get. Also please provide a tshirt size because tshirts are always a popular and well received gift. CUTOFF FOR SIGNUPS IS OCTOBER 16TH. That gives you THREE WEEKS to decide if you want to join in on the festivities. Once sign ups are complete, partners will be assigned by a list randomizer and I will begin sending out contact information for your Secret Santa recipients. If you are buying a gift, the price range is approx. $10-30. If you are making something, try to keep the cost of materials to that amount as well. List your favorite thing about me because I'm awesome, testing who reads all the instructions again. After the years of doing this I have most everyone's contact information, but if this is your first year doing Secret Santa or you have moved in the last year, I will need a name and address to provide for your Secret Santa. Feel free to DM me on Discord to give that information, or if you have any other questions or concerns.
Once you have your Secret Santa information, please have your gift mailed by DECEMBER 4TH. I will say that again since some people like to skip that part.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR GIFT MAILED BY DECEMBER 4TH
That will give you 7 whole weeks to decide/make a gift so there's no excuse for not having things mailed on time. And we have had mailing issues in the past so I'd like to make sure we have plenty of time to sort them out if necessary. Once you receive your gift DO NOT OPEN YOUR GIFT IMMEDIATELY. As we get closer to Christmas we will decide on an appropriate time for us all to gather on Discord voice chat and open our gifts together, since seeing each other's reactions to all the gifts is arguably the best part of this whole endeavor.
As always, if I've forgot anything, have ANY questions, or need some advice on gifts, feel free to DM me on Discord 24/7 and I'll answer you as soon as I can. I look forward to this every year, and I hope everyone's ready to keep the ZV Christmas spirit going!
