Nah, Google is doing great, and both Google Video and YouTube will remain to operate as they have been, but Google Video is likely to become a search engine for video content.

"Google Inc.'s $1.6-billion (U.S.) purchase of video-sharing site YouTube is many things: a windfall for the two twentysomethings who launched the site a little more than a year ago, a tangible sign of just how hot the on-line video market has become, and a warning to Yahoo and Microsoft that Google intends to play hardball."
I really liked google's video more then Youtube. It has some video's that youtube doesn't.

Not for long. Some companies, as far as I know, are now requesting that their videos be taken off YouTube since now they have money.

Yeah I know it sucks. Many episodes of various shows have already been deleted from youtube, but they have been reuploaded! Yay for us!I dont see how they make money anyways.

Of course it's the ads, but I mean so much money for those ads seems unlikely... although you do get an ad for a movie everytime you go to the first page in youtube. those trailers must be expensive.

Ok, just so u know, all those ads on the google search is the reason why they have all this money. Now they are making a word processing program, and guess what it has? ADS!!!
doesnt seem like much, but when millions of people go and click them all the time, u get lots and lots of money. their entire income is based on ads
