Zero
Information: Zero was the former Maverick Hunter, who fought along with X against the Mavericks. After a while, Zero sealed himself to repair an anomaly and he was confined for 100 years. During that time, the battle vs. Sigma's revolt ended with X's victory. Slowly the population of Earth recovered and a new government, called Neo Arcadia, started repressing all Reploids. A Reploid Scientist, Ciel, was fond to the Reploid and considered Neo Arcadia's action to be outrageous, so she decided to help all the Reploids in need. Nevertheless, the strength of Neo Arcadia was superior than their little resistance army, so having heard of the forgotten legend of Zero, she decides to go to the place where he is supposed to be sleeping.
Ciel finds Zero in a stasis form and without any other choice, she sacrifice her Cyber Elf Passy to revive the legendary Hunter Zero. Zero was recovered from his sleep, does not remember anything about his past, except that he sees a girl in peril so he decides to help her out. After destroying the robot creature Golem, Ciel brings Zero to the resistance base where she explains the situation and that Zero was once a fighter for peace. She also explains Zero that X, once his friend and battle partner had gone crazy with the idea of peace in the world and that is the reason of the oppression against Reploids. Zero promises bringing X down. After defeating X's Generals: Harpuia, Fefnir, Leviathan and Phantom, Ciel tells her the truth about X. She says the X that Zero is trying to hunt down, is indeed one of Ciel's creation, not the real X. She had made a perfect copy of X called Copy X, to replace and ensure the peace of Earth after X retired from battle, but this copy has gone crazy. Also, X, the real X made another appearance telling his friend Zero, to abolish the pirate copy version of him and bring peace. Zero himself entered Neo Arcadia's Fortress where he confronted many enemies and having a rematch against Copy X's four generals, who were defeated again. Zero arrived to the battle field where Copy X was awaiting for him. They both fought and after Copy X was defeated. Zero stated though his memory was still incomplete, he knew that the real X was not that weak. Copy X started auto-destruct sequence and Zero left the battle ground. In a desert not so far away from Neo Arcadia's Fortress, an holographic image appears in front of Zero. It is X, who says sorry to his friend and his reason for leaving was that he was tired of fighting and asked Zero to keep on fighting until his return. Zero accepted saying that he would do it because they were best friend and battle partners. Zero stands up watching a horde of Neo Arcadia's Army in front of him. Zero rushes to slay them...
Ciel
Information: Ciel was once a Reploid Researcher at Neo Arcadia, but when she noticed the oppressing regime of the Neo Arcadia government, she decides to leave Neo Arcadia and help out the defenseless Reploids. In a lost city she helps out the secluded Reploids but Neo Arcadia's army approached every time closer to them. Having heard of an old legend, Ciel's last hope is to find Zero, the red legendary Maverick Hunter and use his help to fight Neo Arcadia. Ciel spots his possible whereabouts and decides to go. In the way they are intercepted by a squadron of Golems and many of the Resistance troops fall. They arrive and see Zero in a stasis status. Passy, Ciel's Cyber Elf says that the only way to revive Zero is by sacrificing herself. After Zero is revived with Passy's sacrifice, he helps out the helpless Ciel. Afterwards Ciel tells him that X, his old partner and friend was the reason of the persecution. After defeating Neo Arcadia's generals, Ciel says she lied and that the X Zero was fighting was indeed one of her creations. Ciel asked him the favor to vanquish him to restore the peace amongst Reploids.
Harpuia
Information: One of the four general of Copy X, Harpuia was designed with the latest technology available and his body, as much as the other generals, resembles much alike X's own figure. Harpuia had a pupil, Herculious Anchortus, which was defeated by Zero. Harpuia was defeated twice but he left the battle scene. He is still alive even though his master, Copy X, was eradicated.
Fefnir
Information: One of the four general of Copy X, Fefnir was designed with the latest technology available and his body, as much as the other generals, resembles much alike X's own figure. Fefnir had a pupil, Anubis Necromancess. After he was slayed by Zero, Fefnir decided to confront Zero himself though he was defeated by Zero. Once again at Neo Arcadia Fortress, he battled Zero again. Fefnir was defeated again but he left the battle scene. He is still alive even though his master, Copy X, was eradicated.
Leviathan
Information: One of the four general of Copy X, Leviathan was designed with the latest technology available and her body, as much as the other generals, resembles much alike X's own figure. Leviathan had a pupil, Blizzack Staggroff. Zero confronted her for the first time when Leviathan tried to hack the Resistance's Main Frame. Zero let her leave much to Leviathan's own disgust. Once again at Neo Arcadia Fortress, she battled Zero again. Leviathan was defeated again but she left the battle scene. She is still alive even though his master, Copy X, was eradicated.
Phantom
Information: One of the four general of Copy X, Phantom was designed with the latest technology available and his body, as much as the other generals, resembles much alike X's own figure. Phantom was also the leader of the Stealth Unit of Neo Arcadia due to his Ninja skills. Phantom confronted Zero at a factory and after he was defeated, he said he had planted plenty of bombs all over the place. Zero defused them and Phantom encountered Zero again at the Neo Arcadia Fortress where he was defeated another time. Due to his extreme loyalty to Copy X, he auto destructed himself to damage Zero badly, but this failed also. He shared the same destiny of his master, extermination.
Copy X
Information: Copy X is Ciel's creation to replace the real X after he got tired from fighting. Copy X therefore, is the perfect copy of X, nevertheless, he lacks much of X's wisdom and battle experience. He decided to assure the peace of Earth, it was necessary to exterminate all Reploids and claimed every Reploid not in Neo Arcadia being Maverick. His generals were defeated, and one of them destroyed, Phantom and soon after he confronted Zero. Even though he was sure of his victory, and even using 2 battle forms, he was exterminated by Zero.
X (Unknown X)
Information: After 100 years of fighting Mavericks, the legendary Maverick Hunter X left the battle scene completely after he defeated the Maverick Virus and Sigma. No true hero was left to defend Earth. Ciel made a perfect copy of him, named Copy X. He first appeared to Zero against the battle versus Golem and gave Zero his old Zero Saber. Afterwards he asked Zero to destroy the pirate version of him; and after Zero eliminated Copy X, he appeared in front of him asking him to protect Earth and peace while he was gone, also adding that the reason why he left was that he was tired of fighting and the burden that was brought by fighting, which made him decide to leave. After disappearing in front of Zero's presence, his true whereabouts are unknownTEXTTEXT
