I must admit, HK-47 is a memorable assassin droid. Who does nothing but lusting to kill.
Metal, on the other hand, has an intellect beyond any other robot. Well, excluding Reploids. He thinks, shows some emotion, and even believes he's organic.
He has a heart. v_v;

Meta Ridley pwnz anything you two could pump out. He's got all of your basic robot accessories: jets, lasers, bombs, etc. Plus he looks friggin' schweet! Wings, claws, teeth, glowing red core-thingey, weeeeee!

If you have, in fact not, read the translated version of Nintendo's japanese novel series, Meta Ridley is revealed as a clone of Ridley. Only the inside of him is organic (mainly), but due to not being able to clone him perfectly--adding mechanical parts to effectively keep the clone stable was donned necessary. |

Aside from Meta Ridley, I'd say the next coolest would be Vegnagun(FFX-2). The game wasn't the greatest in the world, and VG was kinda ugly, but he was still a giant gun ready to eradicate every being on the surface of the world. Too bad those meddling kids had to break him.
