Anybody know or care about halo mods cause i would like to know how.

Yeah I know about Halo Mods.... I even use them. A lot of halo mods are saved in ppf format and are sometimes compressed in winrar files. You should have winrar just in case you want to download some mods. In order to use the .ppf files you'll need a modding tool. HHHT is the halo modding tool. (HHHT: Helpful Halo Hacking Tool.) After that just apply the mods to the maps useing HHHT. If it's saved in a .map file then just go into your files where you have halo (defualt place is c:/program files/microsoft games/halo) go into your maps folder and remove (DO NOT DELETE) the map file from the folder and replace it with the map file that the mod is based on (.map mods will have the name of one of the maps. Just remove the original map and put in the modded map. Sounds harder than it really is. If this wasn't clear enough I can explain it better. Hope I helped out. ;D If not.... uh... well... uh...ok... if you download a .rar file you'll need to download the program "WinRar" to open it. if the Mod is a .ppf file then you will have to download the program "HHHT" (helpful halo hacking tool) they can be easily found by searching google. if the file is simply a .map (eg. bloodgultch would be bloodgultch.map) you would find it in the maps directory. if you installed halo into it's defualt folder you will need to go into c:/program files/microsoft games/halo/maps and then replace the .map file already in there with the new modded map. do not delete the original... just move it to your desktop or something and put the new one in the maps folder. just to make sure if the .map file doesn't work right or it is corrupt you can delete it and insert the original. that's about the best it gets explained. (also i am sorry for my late reply to this. i just haven't been on ZV for a long time) anyhow... i hope that helps you out. if not... well... i could take screen shots for a visual aid. ;D

I only know that I hate mods. I was playing a game at backwash on xbox live, it was rockets fre 4 all. The game started and everyone was dead except for one guy, everyone else's screen said respawn in 0 seconds. About a minute and a half later the 3 people who hadn't quit all started in the same spot, and the mod guy was hovering in the air above us with a rocket launcher that never had to reload. He just rained rockets down on us all until the game ended, we never respawned anywhere else. I also saw a flipped warthog in the distance, and there are no hogs on backwash. Anyway thats why I hate ppl that mod.

i have no friggin idea how to make a Halo mod. i could come up with ideas for the mods but you'd have to actually do the mod.
