Drawing I did just now. I don't like the buster design too much though...

That's cool man! ^ ^ I can't even draw this picture!! But actually, i can't find a definite shape for this guy. If i were you, i would like to thicken the outer lines of this figure..my opinion.

Remember what I said in my sprite topic about spriting 4 main characters of the comic I'm making? Well this guy is a comrade of one of the 4. Legs are a little too tall, since I drew the pic really fast, didn't want to spend TOO much time on a side character. Basicly hes one of those good hearted characters that are on the antagonist's team of the story. He's a pacifist and tries to win battles by his incredibly strong armor. Only weapon he uses is his rifle, for back up. He wins battles by letting the enemy waste their energy trying to break his strong shell. Sometimes when the enemy will keep resisting, he has no choice but to kill them. His heavy armor exterior opens up, revealing a mass variety of guns inside him, with enough heavy fire power to kill anyone. Edit: Yeah, when I sprite him it'll look a lot better than this quick sketch.

That's a little better that the previous one, it reminds me of the mmz guardin, Fefnir. This guy's left shoulder gives me a weird feeling. It looks so uneasy. The problem in my opinion is that u shud try n put smthng cooler on his left shoulder.
Yikes! (runs away from the thread, not hoping to be shot)

THE PHOENIX THAT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE ONE. (please read this, I know it’s long but it’ll make you understand the mechanics of this guy) This is one of the 4 main reploids of my comic, he’s the 3rd one. Yeah, in the story the reploids are created in a certain order and he was the 3rd reploid to be created. My main character was the 4th one, so he’s the newest one of the main reploids. This looks nothing like the phoenix but his abilities are similar to one. Like invincibility of a phoenix he can auto regenerate. Whenever his body takes serious damage a special device in him regenerates the damaged parts. Though god modders can be really annoying, so there’s a catch. HE uses up his own stamina to regenerate these damaged parts. Plus since it auto regenerates sometimes it’ll sap his energy when he dosent’ want it to and regenerate his body anyway. Those large guns on his arms are his main weapons, gattling guns. Those poles on his guns can be considered as his “wings”. His special attack, those wings extend and generate heat, this attack is his phoenix flame. Oh yeah, those three holes on his chest is part of a built in Vulcan. Like the vulcans on my main character’s head, but much stronger and only a little bit slower than the head vulcans. But one downside since its on the chest you can’t aim as well as with a head so control is very hard to obtain. But because its on the chest they were able to built much more fire power into the guns. Oh yeah, and the tiny guns near his shoulders also do some weak back up damage. Sketch is really light since I didn't draw the lines dark enough, so I had to up the contrast up. It might look a bit weird. Whew, that sums it all up. Basicly he’s like the heavyarms-like reploid. He’s gonna be an antagonist in my comic.

img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/robertlieu/62cd2943.jpgNew drawing I did just now. His right shoulder came out really ugly, I'm bad with angles. I wanteed to try a new shading style so I made all these weird angles on him while I was drawing. Hopefully when I draw again with this style it'll come out better.

At first i don't understand your phoenix-guy's equipment, but after the description, you made me said 'wow!' You know, if you can draw the phoenix better and all his body parts cooler and clearer, i bet many will just stare at the pic for minutes, just like me just now on your phoenix picture..but AFTER i saw the description. And yup, he's got da look of a villian, so you wouldn't want him to be a good and nice guy....

Thanks for the comments everyone. And yeah, the phoenix guy I stated as an antagonist (which IS the bad guy right? who opposes the main character of a story?) so yeah. img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/robertlieu/76123864.jpgThis was an old sketch that was full of scribbles and smudges I found in my drawer. I decided to clean use it as practice by inking it and erasing the lead. There's a really bad habit of mine, whenever I use pens I use my whole arm, and it starts shaking because I get nervous if I might mess up. So the outlining in this pic is pretty un-smooth in some spots. I plan on doing more inking so I can break this habit of mine.
