You got the point there man. Start breaking the habit. You know i tried one way which helps me well. I did inking when i wanted to write a letter to my sis. I keep shaking so i learnt one way. I used something else to block the paper so it won't fly away. Then i used my other hand to grip my writing hand firmly. The harder i grab, the more confidence i bring into myself. As time passes, my hand ain't shaking when inking. This way is pretty effective, but i'm not sure whether it's suitable for drawing though...anyway keep up the good work pal!

I did this a week ago but forgot to show it. Since one of my friends said about the scratchy stuff I did with some of the lines and my shading, I tried drawing a little smoother. I didn't finish it because I wasn't too fond of the design. Three things I really hate about it are the hands, the head, and the fact I shaded his left foot completely wrong. The real picture looks a lot better than the scan, but I'm not too good with scanners. img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/robertlieu/591fb5c9.jpg

Thanks for the comments everyone. I got my tablet about two weeks ago so yesterday I was practicing with it. It's a little harder than drawing directly with your pencil on the actual picture's lines, but I'm getting the hang of it. Yeah, it has a lot of scribbles. I did this in about 15 min. (not counting the time it took to scribble in the colors)

New drawing I did just now on my tablet. Don't like the face too much though, can't draw good faces. So far I find just holding the tablet on my lap the most comfortable position for me.

I like how the eye looks but you're right, the rest of the face needs work.

Thanks Swim. New drawing, I basicly drew this to practice doing the female proportions. I tried my best not to make it too manly-like. Main parts I dont like are the hands, hair, arms and lame shoes xD. I did some basic clothes too, I'll practice drawing better clothing as well. Though, I should probably start practicing human males since female seems harder.

The chest and hips need some curves and the left arm looks too thin. Not a bad pic though.

Whew, finaly done. I think this is the first serious Cg i've done. This was done as a request at another board, the person wanted me to draw his Net Navi for him. Though the way I cg'd it was really basic, I just made one layer over that sketch before I posted and colored over it, and abused the smudge tool on almost every shade to clean it. It's pretty messy. I should've checked a CG tutorial to learn how to do clean cg's but I keep forgetting to. The parts I like is the head and chest, what I really hate is how I colored the blades. Besides that, I think its pretty good CG for something I did on my own. This took me like 5 hours to color.

Thanks guys. Here's a new drawing I just finished, worked on it the whole day since 12 pm, 6 pm now. Another person requested me to draw their net navi, it's SUPPOSED to be a female, but the navi itself isnt' really meant to look too femine. Main parts i'm concerned about in this drawing is the shading of the chest, face, and boots. Besides that, I think I did a decent job, I decided to stick with my current style instead of copying from a tutorial since I like this way of Cg'ing. I didn't abuse smudge tool as much so it looks a bit more cleaner than my past drawing. img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/robertlieu/e2a6f115.jpg
