If she's more for battleworn then, shouldn't she have some sort of armour around her? Armor is for pansy's

It's a rule in anime. Doesn't matter how battleworn a female character is, they don't need armor. Or clothes for that matter.
Good work though HZ, I see some real improvement in portrayal of 3D spaces.

Random's Art Trade RequestDrew Trias punching Rion. Used reference, worried it might be classified as art theft. But overall, kinda meh. Random is a bastard, just so you know. Bluh. C+C and thanks for looking.

Still think it's ironic that it takes an art trade to RANDOM for you to draw Rion. > Looks good though. As for my art trade... uh... Might have to wait till Spring Break, kinda burning myself out on art thanks to the "final" stuff we have to do for art class.

Sorella, again...I've really gone crazy with the Sorella redesigns lately. Here's my latest one. The most noticble change I've made to her design this time around is the inclusion of armor. Fann and Nightmare both kinda pointed out that the last one was a little bit impractical, and I agree. So, I tried it out and she actually looks pretty nice in it. She looks all knightly and stuff. I also made her scarf a cape this time around. I actually think it works better for her design than the scarf did. Other changes I've made are making her ears stand up more, as they tend to hide in her hair whenever I brought them down, and gave her a tail. Yeah, she's a catgirl. Just thought I'd make that a little more obvious this time around. I also made her less well endowed than previous incarnations. (At least, in the chest area) I plan on transfering those to another character I'm designing. And...that's about it. As always, thanks for looking, and any comments or criticism are much appreciated. Not sure what will be my next drawing, really. I might want to work on Sunny's birthday present, if I'm capable enough. Work on a redesign for Noah, or create another character. I'll see what I can do. Also, I'm aware that I listened to Fann. God help me.

That's really good!
I think the cape needs a little more wrinkle into it, mainly to make it look like it's actually flowing along with the wind. The feet should also be a little bit longer, but since this looks a bit like a cat person, then I guess that was intentional.
Overall, I like it. It might look really good in color!

Whoah wait. Since when was Sorella a cat girl? This is news to me.
In any case, she looks good. Picture looks good and I actually really like the design. Good work.

Cat-people have been seeming to be trendy here on ZV recently. O.o I like it too, HZ. Design and crispness.

Crisp, bold lines are HZ's specialty. I like this design a lot, too. And I actually like how stiff the cape looks. I think it would be cool and unique if it actually was almost part of the armor, rather than just a cape. Cool as a cape, too. Either way, good work, HZ.

Sorella's always been a cat girl. Just she never had a tail till now.
Anyway, to stay on topic... Looks good HZ, I like the new direction you're going with Sorella.

I'd say you're clearly getting better. You've attained some depth to your work.
I don't have much else to say, but keep it up.

Oh hey look! Someone new! This is Reiya, Sorella's younger sister. Well...a more diminuitive version of her anyway. Might want to get to a full-body picture in the future. Anyway, I kinda spent a few days on this one already as a little doodle, trying to work out some design aspects I wanted to keep. I find that I drew some inspiration from some of Sorella's older designs and incorporated it into Reiya. (Like the little hair ties.) In terms of personality, both the All'Oscurita sisters are somewhat opposed to one another: Sorella's a bit of a hothead and very outspoken, but is a little more prone to giving up when tensions are high (in her younger years, at least.)and is kinda aimless in what she wants to do in the future. Reiya, however, is very calm and soft-spoken, almost depressingly so, but has a stronger will than Sorella and has a few ideas about her future. I posted an older version of this picture in the chat yesterday, and I got a few people pointing out the anatomical issues regarding her arm. Which I hoped to fix with this one, but I guess not. Oh well! Guess I gotta take anatomy and physiology next semester, then. As usual, thanks for looking. Comment if you like it or even if you don't. Any criticism is appreciated and have a nice day.

Well, we already discussed the arm thing and came to a conclusion that it's fine but... I thought the whole reason you had me do what I did for the art trade was because you needed design ideas for Reiya. XD
