Maybe after I catch up I'll let a few requests slide, other than that, I really only do commissions or requests for really close friends.

I like the jewel box (cover that holds a CD or DVd or disc of any kind) and the paper snowflake. They're the best of your displays I free.

And the art above ... it's just fine. Keep working.

I hate charcoal too. I have a lot of trouble making anything look realistic with it. My best charcoal work was a black and white recreation of Vincent van Gough's Starry Night.. And you could hardly call that "realistic." XD

You know. You've never seen a picture done with charcoal? Charcoal is practially all we used when I took art at the college.

Nope, I guess I have never seen a charcoal art before. It's a first for me.

But ... given the fact that it's ... charcoal, as in its literal sense, it makes good sense to hate using it in your art.

It's not like a lump of charcoal for grilling. They make sticks of compressed charcoal for art. Sometimes they put it in wood like a pencil, but they're usually bare.

It's very messy, and very dark. It's hard to get many light values with it. It is for me, anyway. I can't make small details with it either.
