Well I just beat the game. It's HARD and the game is amazing. Also the ending confirms that Mega Man and Bass is indeed cannon.

Congratulations.
But as far as I am aware ... Megaman and Bass is not considered a canon, but an alternate.
Which part of the ending said so? I have observed no evidence of that.

OK I am going to say it but I don't want anyone getting upset at me for Spoilers.
Megaman and Rush show Dr. Wily all of the times they have defeated him. There is 9 there 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, shows Mega Man using Wild Coil, 8 shows Mega Man using Flash Bomb and another is shown which is Mega Man and Bass. Here is a Video showing the ending.

Oh, that one.
I was kinda suspicious why there was a 9th apology pleading. I'd have to look and ecognize that myself first.

If you've beaten the game then I've got two quetions for you. What's your favorite robot master power? And is Bass even in the game? You can PM me the answer to the 2nd if it contains spoilers.

No Bass or any mention of him.

Indeed, I spotted no sign of Bass too. Either he became ... irrelevant or they skipped him. Hornet Man's powers was a bit like what Blast Hornet used to fight X, though. The bees ... the bees! Regarding that ending, I'm going to admit ... Pokemaniac is right. At the ending, the last panel of Wily begging for forgiveness ... the platform design is the same as the platform design for MM & Bass where you fight Wily ... after you defeated King and Wily shwos up. The exact same. Well, I guess we'd have to accept it. Comapre Pokemaniac's video to this:

Bass is important at this point of the series since according to MM The power battle 2 Bass was more or less a prototype of Zero. Considering that it looked like that was a prototype of Bass at the end I have a feeling that MM9 is before Megaman 7.
I can't wait for Protoman to be unlockable.

... I do not think that theory is acceptable.
I recommend you to watch the ending of MM9 video just posted above. I find that Pokemaniac's claims of Megaman and Bass being fairly consistent with the video of Megaman showing Wily how many times he's apologized for his wrongdoings.
Oh say ... 9? And ... Megaman 7 included as well?

Wait, is Megaman 9 really the end of the Megaman series yet?

At the moment, doesn't seem so. Actually ... it's not known yet.
The endings are always 'Wily got away', that kind of thing.

Highly doubt that 7 comes after 9. Capcom at least has correct sequencings...

I agree with Zrtl. Based on the recent MM9 ending I propose the Classic games in the following order: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - Megaman and Bass - 9.
After seeing those nine Wilys bowing down and begging for forgiveness, I'm convinced this is the right order.

I've been thinking that if Splashwoman can kill Roll by just slapping her... Well that's a odd question... The real question is what does x become in mms (megaman starforce)? Maybe he's not there, but I think he becomes ULTRA-MAN!!!!!
