You're getting better at recoloring, but you still need some more work. You're still not quite getting all of the shades. But keep at it.

Or .gif It's what i use for my comics and those are some good sprites Swim Stop lieing to him. Lieing isnt going to help him get any better. don't listen to the n00bs .gif format is the true format for sprites. only n00bs use .png. [disclaimer] those words are quoted straight from Bossman.

.gif saves more space, but you usually need a special program to save it as a .gif properly. .png is better since it works just as good as a .gif and you don't need a special way to save it.

I personally can't see the difference between the 2 but I've started using png like most of you have been shouting at me to do.

.gif is the true format for sprites. you cannot animate .png, and don't even try to tell me i'm wrong

The only problem with gifs is you can't save gifs properly with MSPaint, where you can save pngs with MSPaint. Only save as gifs if you have a good photoshop-esqe program, or a gif animator.

I don't think I'm going to be animating for a long time, I'm having enough difficulty with recoloring. So I guess I'm going to stick with png for the most part.

Ok I was very careful to shade every detail of this one I think. C+C? Also I didn't resize it because last time I did they went all crappy. But I think its too small now. Edit: And another: Another edit: I've been busy tonight:
