You might want to snap that photo shot of it somewhere where the light does nto create that shadow, just in case.
And other than that, you just need to practise more in body anatomy.

And now for something I'm actually good at. img208.imageshack.us/img208/1820/meche.pngalso, I got a nice new scanner, so no more crappy pics with the camera. Also got a sketchpad so this -should- be the last one done on notebook paper.

This robot is a good start. But it's going to need a whole lot more details and awesome poses if it wants to grow.

well it's meant to be a very generic design, so no fancy details and what not (it's a mass-production unit)
poses... might come later. Maybe.

The link is showing no picture ... or it's probably just my computer. Will come back another day.

Why am I thinking Full Metal Alchemist?...
Well, the one on the left needs some resizing on the hands, a few more curves as well as some arm-component distinction in the one on the right. Muscles and all.

Oh yay. Now I can see it. Hmm ... the armour on the left is fine, but the hand requires some flex, more muscles. Sounds like Rion is malnourished.

Well, Al. I explained this in the chat, but the left arm is his armor. I shouldn't have added the lines on the sides on the rerebrace (the top part from what Random explained) because it made it look thicker than I planned for it to be (however it is still plated armor and it is still meant to have some sense of bulk to it), but the bottom is like a bracer and is meant to be like a small shield, with more fitting armor under it that obviously can't be seen in that angle. Now that I look at it... it kinda does look like part of Al's armor from FMA, doesn't it? XD Edit: Those lines started irritating me, so I erased em and cleaned up a little bit. a.imageshack.us/img204/2258/leftarma2.pngAs for the one on the right... I don't really understand what you guys mean. It was mostly to practice hand proportioning in relation to a full-length arm, though, and later I felt I needed to design his markings... but Rion's not a muscle-tank, he's more on the lean side, so I didn't see a reason to make the arm all that muscular.

Well, if you look down on your right or left arms for example, you will notice that the outlines from shoulder to finger are opposites because of muscle anatomy. Even if a person is lean. Yours is like a mirror image, the arm and forear compared to each other. Thus it's somewhat different.

Hands are a bit too long. Can use some armour there too.

Eh, both of them are fine. Nothing to comment more than that.
