I doubt that Team Rocket will be in the new games too. Because that would be interesting and may have actually made me wanna try it out. But the current direction of the series seems geared toward the opposite of good.

Either way, I doubt there's gonna be much (if any) Team Rocket in the new games. And honestly, I'm more than ok with that. As of right now, I'm gonna start wondering what the new Professor's focus of study is going to be. Most likely the study of implanting butts onto the back of Pokemon's heads. They'll be the Pokemon of the future. Because butts. But you know, this is just my theory, could be wrong.

Pokemon with butts on their heads aren't the future. Magmar was introduced in gen 1.

Honestly, it seems to me they're trying to appease fans of the first generation that have stuck around with this. Regardless of what you all think, they're making Mewtwo relevant again, with them giving him a Signature Move in Black and White, and now a new form, probably enhancing or specializing his stats to make him even more powerful.

Ok, this is more about the movie... but still has some relation to the games. I'm not going to pretend that I understand what any of this says. But from what I've been told... it confirms that the "new pokemon" is in fact an alternate form for Mewtwo.

Well Mewtwo does share some similarities with Genesect in that they were both created in a lab by an evil organization. There could be an angle for them to use, time will tell if they take advantage of it. If he's just there because butts, well then butts.

From what I've read about the movie, Mewtwo is trying to free the Genesect from their lives as weapons... or something like that. Of course, I can say right now that what is most likely going to happen in the movie is Mewtwo is gonna get his ass kicked (Because psychic types are weak to bug) and he has to unlock this new form somehow in order to beat the Genesect. How is it gonna happen in the games? No idea.

Going over stuff we already know... but it's been double officially confirmed... TRIPLE POST PREVENTION EDIT! Was watching the latest trailer for the new Pokemon movie, and I saw this. Ok... each Eeveelution seems to have something connected to their type in those little symbol things (Jolteon has lightning bolts, Glaceon's is a snow flake, etc.). Let's take a closer look at Sylveon's. Well... it's an egg, that doesn't really help much. But... what's that at the bottom there? Call me crazy, but that looks like a stylized wing. Possible evidence for Flying-type? Maybe... Or... alternate theory. The wing shape does seem to resemble the Insect Badge. So what if it's not an egg... but a cocoon? Maybe Bug type?

So is it Mewthree or Mewforme? From what I've been reading, it's apparently officially being called "Awakened Mewtwo". So... yeah, form.

Eh... The dark and psychic ones behind Espeon and Umbreon barely look like they represent those types... I get what you're saying, and the Insect Badge/Cocoon thing could possibly work, but it's like... Why would they make it pink? I'm tired of Sylveon. I just want to know what type it is so I can never use it.

Corocoro seems to have leaked, and we got stuff! What we got here seems to be the early game bird, a fighting-type panda, a grass ram that you can ride, and an electric lizard. Also, you can see the new Pokedex design as well. EDIT: Got names now... Bird is Yayakoma, Panda is Yancham, Ram is Gogoat, and unfortunately due to the glare... we can't get the lizards name. EDIT 2: More things coming in... first look at the official artwork for the playable characters. EDIT 3: It also seems that the name of the new setting is the Karos Region, and that there will be some level of character customization. EDIT 4: Lizard's name is Elikiteru and is Electric/Normal.
