His left leg is shaded a bit odd, change it up a bit, I think It should be black on both sides, just the left side of it...the sprite's left

I think that is awesome, dont know what else to fix. maybe change the eye color to make it more visible, but If you want brown...or black...whatever that colour is...then keep it and I think your basically finished.

The contrast on the white is still very low. It looks like you're only using one white shade from far away. That pants still needs some work with its shape but it'll probably be fine if you keep it like that. But the main problem is that the pants are shaded incorectly, Because of how its shaded, it looks like he has his foot twisted in an weird position, not normal.

You know, when I look at it, it kinda reminds me of the boy from Shining Tears, crossed with Dante from DMC ((O.o)) though that may just be how the armor and head looks. Now I'd like to see some poses of him using that sword  |

He looks much better with the armor you added, the sole chest plate looked kind of dumb in my opinion.

I'm sorry If I'm starting to sound annoying now, but the white's contrast is still low. Why do you try using the lightest black on his pants as the darkest shade for the white?
